IBM frames enterprise AI as moving from experimental 'light bulb' uses to an 'electric motor' era that automates core operations and forecasts up to a 40% productivity increase by 2030. At its Think event IBM announced an agent-based operating environment and new products to deploy and govern autonomous AI agents, including Watsonx Orchestrate, IBM Bob, IBM Concert and Concert Secure Coder. Watsonx Orchestrate serves as a centralized control plane for audited, policy-driven agent swarms; IBM Bob provides a secured agent development environment (including mainframe support); and IBM Concert offers a single pane of glass for infrastructure, network and security.
