Paris-based phone support software startup Aircall raises $2.75 million in seed funding

Paris, France-based Aircall, which develops software that enables companies to improve the phone systems used by their teams, has closed a $2.75 million seed round led by Balderton Capital and joined by a couple of unnamed US, France, and Germany-based angel investors as well as FundersClub. Previously, the company participated in 500 Startups accelerator in San Francisco, and according to Maddyness landed $800,000 in funding last summer from Fotolia founder Oleg Tscheltzoff and other business angels. One wonders what its cap table looks like these days :) Aircall has built a business phone system that can be deployed via an app in mere seconds and doesnt rely on hardware. Importantly, Aircall integrates with other business software programs, including Salesforce, Zendesk, Pipedrive and Slack. Olivier Pailhes, Aircall’s co-founder and CEO, says the company is "experiencing such a high level of demand from customers that we want to double the team over the next 4-6 months, and accelerate the pace we’re adding features to our product".
