Texas Self Storage Association Donates Funds to Shriners Childrens Hospital in Galveston

“It’s an honor to support an organization that does so much to treat critically burned children while relying solely on donations from the public and without charging for their services,” says TSSA Fundraiser Committee Chairman Doug Hunt.The Fundraising Committee is already making plans for the next campaign, which will mark the ninth year that the Texas Self Storage Association has raised funds for this worthy cause.Although the Committee solicits items for the charity auction all year, their efforts will bear fruit during the TSSA Annual Convention and Trade Show in Fort Worth during October 18 – 20, 2010.The money was raised through a variety of activities held during the Association’s annual convention, including both live and silent auctions, and a charity poker tournament.The Shriners Children’s Hospital in Galveston has been the beneficiary of the Association’s fundraising efforts since 2001.The Fundraising Committee is already making plans for the next campaign, which will mark the ninth year that the Texas Self Storage Association has raised funds for this worthy cause.
