New York, NY, February 21, 2008 --( In December 2007 The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution designating April 2nd as World Autism Awareness Day in perpetuity starting in 2008.In recognition of World Autism Awareness Day a portion of The Savant Exhibition will also be featured at The United Nations prior to coming to The Manhattan Childrens Center.At The Manhattan Childrens Center the goal is to help every child reach his or her potential and become a functional member of their community.To learn more about The Savant Exhibition and The Manhattan Childrens Center please visit www.manhattanchildrenscenter.org or contact Abigail Szoszun-Weiss, Head of School at 212-749-4604.In recognition of World Autism Awareness Day a portion of The Savant Exhibition will also be featured at The United Nations prior to coming to The Manhattan Childrens Center.The Manhattan Childrens Center is a twelve month interdisciplinary Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) program which combines ABA scientific methods with related services in speech, occupational therapy and natural environment training.
