Los Angeles, CA, January 29, 2015 --( Jeffrey Coprich, Sr. founded the Inner City Destiny Awards and Inner City Youth Foundation to observe and celebrate community leaders, mentors and celebrities making a positive impact on the youth during the Martin Luther King, Jr holiday, bringing awareness to his life, work, and community service for the advancement of the human race.Jeffrey Coprich, Jr. a Cal running back, was one of 22 players nationwide selected to the Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team for dedication to community service.He worked with congresswoman Maxine Waters, the I Am Foundation and the Los Angeles Unified School District to secure a grant to purchase new books for the library at 116th Street Elementary in Watts.Their goal is aimed at bringing greater national attention to initiatives that are deterring the manifestations of societal breakdowns, while shining the spotlight on programs created as a way to recognize, inspire and encourage youth-led efforts.Jeffrey Coprich, Sr. founded the Inner City Destiny Awards and Inner City Youth Foundation to observe and celebrate community leaders, mentors and celebrities making a positive impact on the youth during the Martin Luther King, Jr holiday, bringing awareness to his life, work, and community service for the advancement of the human race.Coprich, Sr. is also founder of “LA Inner City Mass Choir” who was featured on Oxygen’s “Fix My Choir” starring gospel superstar Deitrick Haddon and Michelle Williams.He also stars on Oxygen’s “Preachers of L.A.” Williams turned toward gospel music after making her name in the R&B group, Destiny’s Child.Jeffrey Coprich, Jr. a Cal running back, was one of 22 players nationwide selected to the Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team for dedication to community service.
