This comprehensive two-week summer program is taught by industry professionals with both television and film experience.Ms. Wolf and Joey Travolta co-founded Actors for Autism in 2004, a non-profit organization, comprised of people in the entertainment industry dedicated to the advancement, education, and exposure of children and adults on the autistic spectrum.This is an inclusive program; typical peers and siblings are an integral part of the camp experience and are welcome to sign-up.Actors For Autism created this series of film camps in order to provide an opportunity for children to learn about the movie making process and create their own films.The camps are therapeutic in nature and are geared toward the improvement of communication skills, interactive social skills, and the building of self-confidence.Alisa Wolf M.Ed., an industry veteran and the mother of two young children on the autistic spectrum, has created several programs designed to integrate children with autism into society in a creative way.Ms. Wolf and Joey Travolta co-founded Actors for Autism in 2004, a non-profit organization, comprised of people in the entertainment industry dedicated to the advancement, education, and exposure of children and adults on the autistic spectrum.Three camp sessions are available from June to August on the dates listed below.
