Zipjet Receives Investment from existing shareholder Henkel

Zipjet, a London, UK-based on-demand laundry and dry cleaning service, received an investment from existing shareholder Henkel.The company, which is also backed by Rocket Internet, btov and a series of strategic investors, will use the funds to further consolidate its position in continental Europe.Founded by Florian Färber and Lorenzo Franzi in London in 2014, Zipjet provides a mobile first, on-demand laundry & dry cleaning service featuring free delivery and collection.The app will later find their location, and users can follow the on-screen instructions to schedule a collection time within 60 seconds.Following the London launch, the company has later expanded in Berlin and Paris, in January 2015 and May 2016 respectively.
