Findyr, a NYC-based technology platform for globally-sourced, on-Demand micro data and content, recently closed an additional round of funding.Led by Anthony Vinci, CEO and Founder, Findyr allows multinationals, marketers, agencies and media companies to request and receive hyper-local micro data and content from regions around the world.Launched in beta 2014, it enables data, information and content requests – sourced from more than 100 countries – to be fulfilled through a peer-to-peer labor marketplace.Acting as an “offline search engine”, the platform allows users to task “Findyrs” with collecting data, performing surveys and taking custom photos and videos on-demand.Once a request is made, local citizens who have downloaded the Findyr app and have access to the information needed, answer the request, usually within 48 hours.
