Mrs. Maas is well-known and valued leader in the wider Los Angeles Jewish community, serving on numerous nonprofit organizations in a variety of capacities.AJU’s focus on scholarship, culture, ethics, leadership, and peoplehood are very much in line with my own personal values which have inspired my work in our community for over four decades.As a longtime member of the AJU board, I look forward to continuing to serve the university community in this new leadership capacity as we move forward one of the largest and most innovative Jewish institutions in the country.” Virginia A.
