Michael Gill Military active duty, veterans, retirees and their spouses convene for a free business conference to start or grow their business.Organization Supporting Women Veteran Entrepreneurs – Celebrates government agencies, non-profits, academic institutions and private industry for expanding opportunities to woman, veteran-owned businesses that go above and beyond the standard.The conference is sponsored by PNC Bank, DPN Group and Morgan State University’s Entrepreneurial Development & Assistance Center (EDAC) and is supported by the Maryland Department of Veteran Affairs.This conference is designed to connect active duty military personnel, transitioning soldiers, military spouses, veterans and emerging entrepreneurs with information and resources to grow their business successfully.During the event, attendees will experience intensive networking opportunities and workshops on start-up capital, entrepreneurship basics, maximizing certifications, obtaining government contracts and securing capital.The day includes a luncheon and awards ceremony that recognizes veterans and organizations that support the military with the Roll Call Awards.These awards recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to military, veterans and their families.
