During the Preschool Rock Paper Scissors classes, licensed educators interact with the children, engaging them in conversation that builds both their vocabulary and social skills.Preschool Rock Paper Scissors™ classes are designed to let preschool age children: • Explore a variety of tools, materials, and techniques • Constructively focus their energy • Develop language and social skills in a group setting • Work along side their peers and learn by example • Learn to cooperate with other children • Enjoy creating in their own way and take pride in their creations Classes are taught by a licensed educator.The Preschool Rock Paper Scissors™ creator and program director, Shannon McMath, is a mom who saw the need to socialize her daughter with other children in a setting that promotes self-expression and a sense of accomplishment.Sitting along side their peers, children get the experience of working in a group setting, a skill that is ever so important when entering kindergarten.Preschool Rock Paper Scissors™ classes are designed to let preschool age children:• Explore a variety of tools, materials, and techniques• Constructively focus their energy• Develop language and social skills in a group setting• Work along side their peers and learn by example• Learn to cooperate with other children• Enjoy creating in their own way and take pride in their creationsClasses are taught by a licensed educator.They can then use the curriculum to contribute to the education and social skills development of children in their communities through arts and crafts.Children, along with an accompanying parent, meet weekly for a 60-minute class for a total of four sessions.
