PARK(ing) Day was originally created in 2005 by Rebar, a San Francisco-based art and design studio, as an experimental exploration in repurposing public space.The South Florida region is increasing its access to demonstrations like this with both West Palm Beach and Miami offering sites where locals are participating as well."Cadence, a Landscape Architecture firm in downtown Fort Lauderdale, is excited to announce the 3rd annual PARK(ing) Day FTL which will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013.Since then, it has been creatively adapted and sparked imaginations around the world.The public event will be held in two city parking spots at NW 5th Street and N.
