" In the film “Canvas,” ten-year old Chris Marino (played by Devon Gearhart) just wants to be normal, but his mother’s (Marcia Gay Harden) bouts of paranoia and delusion give new meaning to the term dysfunctional family.and is a fundraiser in support of the non-profit mental health educational organization, No Kidding, Me Too!Unable to face his wifes illness or console his son, John begins building a mysterious object in the driveway of their home.He quits his job, the bills pile up, but John compulsively works day and night to build a sailboat, abandoning his son at his darkest hour.However, with newfound understanding and respect, father and son work tirelessly to complete the boat together, hopeful that Mary will join them on the maiden voyage.After graduating from film school at Florida State University, Joseph Greco worked under film director James Cameron during the making of “Titanic.” He was selected to participate in Fox Searchlight’s Searchlab Lecture series for new directors, and his comedy script, “The Big Secret was a winner in the SCR(I)PT Magazine/Open Door Screenplay Competition.Mr. Greco has also produced and directed several corporate projects for The Walt Disney Company.Joe Pantoliano worked as a waiter in Manhattan while juggling acting classes and auditions.
