Grapeshot, a New York, London and Singapore based advanced keyword technology provider, completed an $8.5m funding round.The round was co-led by IQ Capital and Draper Esprit, a member of the global Draper Venture Network with participation from existing investors IQ Capital Fund I LP and Albion Ventures.The company intends to use the funds to further fuel its global expansion growing the presence in New York and Singapore and with new office openings in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sydney.Led by founder and CEO John Snyder and newly hired COO Kurt Kratchman, Grapeshot provides audience and keyword targeting and analytics solutions in open and private programmatic environments.The company’s solution builds connections for brands, publishers, buy-side and supply-side partners using an Internet page, keyword extraction, algorithm.
