Klara, a Berlin, Germany-based eHealth startup, raised $2.5m in funding.The company intends to use the funds to accelerate US expansion as well as to improve the platform.Founded in 2013 by Simon Bolz and Dr. Simon Lorenz, Klara enables doctors to carry their patient relationships into the digital communication channel and treat them online.The company currently focuses on dermatology, as skin problems are well-suited for online treatment.After entering German-speaking markets beginning 2014, Klara expanded to the US the following summer and now works with more US doctors in over 30 states.
