QD Vision Raises $3M in Equity Financing

QD Vision, Inc., a Watertown, MA-based developer of nanotechnology-based products for solid state lighting and displays, has raised $3m in equity financing from DTE Energy Ventures.The capital infusion will support the company’s market expansion.The investment follows a $10m initial close of funding announced last month by the company.Founded in 2004 by a research team from MIT, QD Vision has raised a total of $33m in venture capital financing.Other investors include North Bridge Venture Partners, Highland Capital Partners and In-Q-Tel.
