Neodata Raises €2.5M from Principia SGR

Neodata Group, a Milan, and Catania, Italy-based provider of solutions for dealers and online publishers, has raised € 2.5m in funding from Principia SGR.The company intends to use the funding to strengthen its position in Italy expand in the United States, where it has just established a subsidiary and opened an office in Los Angeles, which will have a staff of about ten by the end of 2012.Neodata plans to significantly expand its staff in coming years (read here).Founded in 2004 by CEO Giovanni Giuffrida, the company provides an adserving offer for dealers and online publishers (including web TVs, mobile domains and iApplications).Its flagship product – ad.agio – is used by top Italian publishers such as Mediaset, La Repubblica, Seat Pagine Gialle, Tiscali and Sipra.
