Reflux Medical GmbH, a Vienna, Austria-based diagnosis and therapy center specializing in the treatment of Reflux disease and medical conditions in the upper and lower intestinal tract, has received an investment of undisclosed amount from Floor 13.Led by Medical Directors Prof. Dr. Martin Riegler, who has developed a novel biopsy protocol as well as a special surgical method for Reflux (Fundoplikatio) for the diagnosis and treatment of Reflux, and Dr. Christian Tuscher, the company incorporates competency and highly effective modern technologies to manage Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and prevent cancer development.In addition to endoscopy and esophageal function tests (manometry, pH monitoring) it offers individually tailored modern laparoscopic antireflux surgery (magnetic ring; LINK) and radiofrequency ablation (RFA; HALO®) of Barrett‘s esophagus.FinSMEs 19/07/2012
