Ley Rubber Ltd Receives £100,000 GBI

Ley Rubber Ltd, a Liverpool, UK-based manufacturer and importer of rubber products, hoses and corks for automotive, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors, received a £100,000 Grant for Business Investment (GBI), from the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA).Having identified significant deficiencies in the factory environment and recognising the need to relocate to a more modern premise, the company decided to invest in key manufacturing equipment and develop the skills base of staff.The GBI will enable the company, which employs 32 employees, to create 7 new full time roles and safeguard a further 7 jobs over a 12 month period.The grant is part of “Solutions for Business“, the UK Government’s package of publicly funded business support designed to help companies start and grow.FinSMEs 24/03/2010
