Ireland, Openet Raises $10.5M in Funding

Openet, a global provider of event processing and transaction management solutions, has completed a $10.5m (approximately €7.2m) equity financing.The round, which brings the total amount the company has raised to date to almost $61m (€41m), was led by Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and Enterprise Ireland, with participation from existing investor Balderton Capital.The new capital will enable Openet to accelerate its growth in regional markets and make new strategic investments.In conjunction with the funding, Paul Sutton, managing partner at Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, will join the company’s board of directors.Openet is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, and operates regional offices worldwide.
