Finance Wales recently announced that the Wales Technology Seed Fund has reached a £3m investment milestone.The £7.5m fund makes investments in early stage science and technology companies located in, or willing to relocate to, Wales, from £50k through to £250k.Launched in April 2014, the Wales Technology Seed Fund has invested £3m, leveraging an additional £3m in co-investment –a pound-for-pound funding ratio.So far, the fund has invested in 21 companies.Deals have included equity investments in software companies Paperclip, Hudman, Koherent, Nemesis, Trecento and Kitlog.
