Fynanz, Inc. , a New York, NY-based provider of integrated private student lending platforms, has completed a $6.5m Series A funding.The round was co-led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) and DFJ Gotham Ventures , with participation from The Brazos Group, Zelkova Ventures and JBR Media Ventures.The company will use the funds for the continued national expansion of www.cuStudentLoans.org , the credit union private student lending marketplace, and the development of additional lending programs including financial literacy initiatives.The financing follows a previous investment led by DFJ Gotham Ventures that also included Brazos and Zelkova.FinSMEs 02/02/2010
