Swapi Raises £860K in Pre-Seed Funding

The company intends to use the funds to expand the team, launch with 100+ international brands on board and bring the app to market. Led by founder and CEO Pete Howroyd, Swapi is an e-wallet platform which allows people to Collect Swapi Points™ and spend on rewards, coupons and discounts on the app, with a host of retailers, hotels, airlines and more. The company has also announced the appointment of Carolina Paradas-Mandato, previously Global Senior Affiliates & CLO Manager at Harvey Nichols, as its new Head of Strategic Partnerships. Paradas-Mandato will be in charge of expanding Swapi into new international territories as well as handling all affiliate relationships with the 100+ brands.
