Ategrity Specialty Insurance Company Closes $75M Raise

Ategrity Specialty Insurance Company, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based specialty property & casualty insurance company focused on the excess and surplus (“E&S”) lines market, completed a $75m capital raise. Its offerings include commercial E&S property and casualty business on a primary and excess basis. The company serves wholesale agents and brokers throughout the U.S. on a contract binding and individual brokerage account basis. Ategrity has a captive reinsurance company located in Bermuda that will share in the risks of the insurance business. Ategrity launched in September 2018 with funding from Stuart Zimmer, Chairman of Sequentis Financial and the Founder and CEO of Zimmer Partners, a research-driven multibillion dollar investment adviser and operating company of Sequentis Financial.
