CNote Raises $3M in Funding

CNote, an Oakland, Calif.-based financial technology platform that makes it easy to invest in economic inclusion, closed a $3m private funding round. The round was led by ManchesterStory, with participation from Artemis Fund, SixThirty Ventures, H/L Ventures, Clearstone Capital, and Lateral Capital. The company intends to use the funds to extend its reach in the socially responsible investing space. Led by CEO Catherine Berman, CNote is a women-led impact investment platform that uses technology to unlock diversified and proven community investments in racial equity, economic justice and gender equity and help close the wealth gap in underserved communities across America, to generate economic mobility and financial inclusion.
