--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DHI Telecom Group was established in 2007 to deliver advanced technical solutions including fiber-optic cable, satellite uplinks, mobile Wi-Fi devices, and commercial Internet through contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), and Naval Information Warfare Systems Command. DHI developed Sapphire International Mobile Hotspots to keep servicemen and women, and DoD contractors deployed overseas connected to the Internet with a secure signal. In Q4 2018, DHI acquired London-based Tep Wireless for its successful U.K. and U.S. mobile Wi-Fi rental network, which now uses Sapphire devices for business and leisure travelers. TEP launched sales at the B8ta high-tech store during the grand opening of Hudson Yards – New Yorks new retail, entertainment, and high-rise residential center. Next, DHI purchased Trinus, a mobile Wi-Fi company based in Chile, serving Latin American business travelers to Europe and North America.
