Alera Group Acquires Comprehensive Benefit Administrators

CBA focuses on brokerage services, claims administration and enrollment. Now, all of its employees – led by Michael McKenna, President – will continue operating out of the firm’s existing locations under the name Comprehensive Benefit Administrators, an Alera Group Company, LLC. Formed in early 2017 and led by Alan Levitz, CEO, Alera is one of the nation’s foremost independent insurance agencies. The firm has over 1,700 employees who serve thousands of clients nationally in employee benefits, property and casualty, risk management and wealth management. It is the 15th largest privately held firm in the country.
