Amp Human Receives Investment Led by Next Ventures

Amp Human, a Park City, UT-based creator of products for athletes, raised a seed funding of undisclosed amount. The round was led by Next Ventures, which was founded by Lance Armstrong and Lionel Conacher. Co-founded by Jeff Byers and Erica Good, Amp Human is launching PR Lotion, which is an electrolyte lotion that uses a patent pending skin absorption technology to neutralize acid buildup in muscles during exercise. PR Lotion is able to deliver bicarb (sodium bicarbonate or baking soda) a natural electrolyte to working muscles, neutralizing the acid buildup that occurs during exercise. The company also plans to establish a scientific advisory board and expand its R&D for additional products in its pipeline.
