TerraClear Raises $6.1M in Financing

TerraClear, Inc. , a Bellevue, Wash.- and Grangeville, ID-based based robotic agtech company, closed a $6.1m funding round. The round, which brought total capital raised to date to more than $13m, was led by Madrona Venture Group with participation from existing investors. The company will use the new funds to accelerate hiring, product development, and testing. Founded in December 2017 and led by Brent Frei, CEO, TerraClear is a provider of smart agricultural implements to improve farmers’ lives by automating time-consuming work. The company integrates machine vision, aerial sensing, and advanced robotics in an end-to-end solution for farmers to clear rocks from their fields.
