HeadSpin Acquires NimbleDroid
Summary
HeadSpin will integrate the NimbleDroid functional performance testing tools into its core platform and all employees will join HeadSpin including NimbleDroid co-founder and CEO Junfeng Yang, who has been named Chief Scientist, and co-founder and CTO, Younghoon Jeon, who has been named as a Fellow. The two companies together provide mobile developers with a comprehensive platform for mobile app and site testing, performance management and user experience monitoring. Led by Manish Lachwani, CEO and Co-Founder, HeadSpin provides a platform that leverages a global infrastructure of more than 22,000 SIM-enabled devices in 150 locations and proprietary AI-driven software to deliver mobile testing, performance management and a user experience monitoring solution. Recently, the company announced $20 million in Series B funding from ICONIQ and Battery Ventures. Enterprise customers include mobile app providers Tinder and DocuSign, several device OEMs including Dell, operating systems teams, telco carriers including Telstra and VZ, and content delivery network firms such as Akamai.
