Sekhmet Ventures focuses primarily on companies with science-based products in the beauty and wellness markets. The firm provides companies with capital and support from experts in marketing, sales, manufacturing, regulatory compliance and other commercial aspects to accelerate growth without additional time, funds and potential dilution usually required to build the infrastructure to perform these functions. Led by Barbara Paldus, founding partner, the firm has already invested in Stamba, which creates intelligent, organic blends of nutrient-dense foods for experiential and long-term well-being. Paldus brings a record of successfully growing new ventures, as well as extensive technical knowledge. Paldus was also the operating partner at Skymoon Ventures where she worked with early stage optical and spectroscopy companies, including Daylight Solutions (acquired by Leonardo DRS in 2017) and ARP (acquired by Li-Cor in 2010).
