Blackstone Life Sciences Enters into €300 Million Financing Collaboration with Sanofi

The Life Sciences team advised Blackstone Life Sciences on its strategic, risk-sharing financing collaboration with Sanofi, in which Blackstone will provide Sanofi with up to €300 million in funding to support the clinical development program for a subcutaneous formulation of Sarclisa, an anti-CD38 antibody approved in a number of countries for the treatment of multiple myeloma. In exchange, Blackstone will be eligible to receive royalties on future sales of the subcutaneous formulation. By combining scale investments and hands-on operational leadership, Blackstone Life Sciences helps bring to market promising new medicines and medical technologies that improve patients’ lives.
