Supporting NR Carrier Aggregation (CA), Fibocom’s FG160 module optimises 5G user experience with extended coverage, boosted throughput and increased capacity, which is a suitable solution for terminals such as CPE, STB, IPC, ODU, etc. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 modem chipset, Fibocom’s FG160 is a 5G module backward compatible with LTE-TDD, LTE-FDD and WCDMA network standards. Coming with LGA form factor measuring 41x44x2.75mm, FG160 is compatible with Fibocom’s 5G module FG150, which allows customers to migrate between different products, reducing investment concerns. Along with abundant functionalities such as digital audio, VoLTE and VoNR, the Fibocom FG160 module supports multi-constellation GNSS receiver, including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou，QZSS and Galileo, which provides high-performance positioning and navigation while greatly simplifies end product design. Meanwhile, it supports multiple operating systems (Linux/ Android/ Windows), various Internet protocols as well as industry-standard interfaces (USIM, USB 3.1/3.0/2.0, PCIe 4.0 and I2S), allowing much flexibility and ease of integration for customers deployment.
