Berlin green tech startup Swobbee charged up with €6 million to roll out battery-swapping stations

The Series A round was led by EIT InnoEnergy, a company that specialises in sustainable energy investment and is supported by the European Union. The green tech will use InnoEnergy’s funds and network to build its battery swapping service across Germany and into two new European countries. Founded in 2017, the platform offers battery swapping stations, with a multi-modal approach that enables the micromobility boom.
