InterValley Ventures backs cyber incident response platform Cydarm

General News

Summary

Cybersecurity incident response platform Cydarm has banked $3 million in fresh funds, following the government urging Australian businesses to step up their cyber defences on the back of the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. Simon Wright’s InterValley Ventures led the raise, with Cydarm becoming its third investment since late January. InterValley has also invested in Kepler Analytics this year, and it also backed Remi.ai last month. The Melbourne-based business was co-founded in 2017 by computer scientist Dr Vaughan Shanks and cybersecurity professional Ben Waters. The co-founders participated in the CyRise accelerator program, specific to cybersecurity start-ups.
