Tracked by cybersecurity experts as Vyia Ransomware, the threat is capable of rendering a long list of filetypes completely unusable via encryption with an uncrackable cryptographic algorithm. The exact instructions of the attackers will be delivered to the victims as a text file named _readme.txt. The only listed requirement is to have established communication with the hackers at any point during the first 72 hours following the attack.
