With new Tampa hub, construction software firm Procore aims to add 100 jobs

When the time came for Procore to open an East Coast hub, Florida was a natural target. Tampa beat out a half-dozen other cities for the hub, Crawford said, partly because of Florida’s robust construction industry but also for what he sees as a solid university talent pipeline. The downtown Tampa office will mostly house sales and customer support staff. The new Tampa office was already in the works before that IPO launch; going forward, the company is looking at more global expansion, starting in France and Germany. Crawford said he hopes the Tampa office will be fully up to staff by the end of 2022′s first quarter, with more hiring planned down the line.
