Year in Review: VIA Mobile360 Intelligent In-Vehicle Safety Systems
Summary
Last year we continued to expand our VIA Mobile360 family of intelligent in-vehicle safety systems with the introduction of a number of new products targeted at different segments of the fleet management, warehouse and logistics, and mining and excavation markets. We received a tremendous response to this highly ruggedized system, which leverages its powerful 360-degree video and mmWave radar smart sensor fusion technology to provide operators of mining, excavation, and construction vehicles with real-time alerts of approaching vehicles, machinery, and workers in all weather, lighting, and working conditions. With its people detection technology, the system prevents pedestrian accidents through its front and rear wide angle cameras. To further boost safety, the system also alerts the operator when it detects signs of fatigue, smart phone usage, and smoking through its driver camera. In 2022, we plan to further expand the VIA Mobile360 family of intelligent in-vehicle safety systems for a growing number of segments and use cases.
