Skyland Ventures Raises New $10M Fund for SEED STARTUPs

The VC aims to do seed investments in 30+ STARTUPs by GENIUSES in the new internet fields of VR, AI (Artificial Intelligence), Video Communication, Personal Robots etc. In the second half of 2015, the VC invested in 6 new seed STARTUPs and also raised its new fund ‘Skyland Ventures No.2 LPS’. These startups have particularly spent their time at Skyland Venture’s co-working space #HiveShibuya and are aiming at further expanding the respective fields of their services. Skyland Ventures has a total of 2 funds after raising Skyland Ventures No.2 fund in addition to the Skyland Ventures No.1 raised in August 2012 and has invested in over 20 companies till date like Hachimenroppi(Fresh-fish EC), Travelbook (Travel EC & Media), Kaumo (Shopping EC & Media), Translimit(Gaming), Nanameue(Communication) etc.The fund includes investments from companies worth billions of dollars to several hundreds million dollars or angel money of their founders. -Our limited partners are DeNA, East Ventures, United, Vector, Septeni, Adways & Angels.
