The process is now very efficient with fuel stops at Shannon for those also clearing USCBP taking between 45-60 minutes. Whilst there has been some leeway during the Covid pandemic, generally any operator wishing to pre-clear USCBP at Shannon must provide 24 hour’s notice of their intention in advance. Overtime hours are available on request from 0700L in the morning and until 2100L in the evening and also includes weekends. Appointments can be made by contacting Universal Aviation Shannon and completing a pre-booking information sheet. Logistical changes coming in to effect • All crew and passengers must be cleared in the CBP office in the terminal due to COVID precautionary measures put in place by USCBP.
