We need to understand the range and diversity of needs within our market, how each customer segment approaches their work, how social media management software is currently a part of that, and where we can create additional value in the future.You’ll gain a broader understanding of our product and how your role fits into the organization Partner with our SVP of Product and other key stakeholders to set initial priorities and align on expectations for your role Begin to build relationships with your PM and Design team as well as across broader partners and stakeholdersBegin to influence product prioritization and quality due to initial research efforts Act as a culture and process leader for the overall PM and Design teams Create an overall plan for Research @ Sprout and get alignment across key stakeholders Make first hire(s) to ensure we have the right capabilities and capacity for this areaDemonstrate consistent high impact to the product and the business Be ready to help solve the next phase of team problems -- including things we maybe haven’t even anticipated yet!Of course what is outlined above is the ideal timeline, but things may shift based on business needs and other projects and tasks could be added at the discretion of your manager.
