The threat can encrypt a large number of file types and the strong cryptographic algorithm ensures that recovery without the decryption key held by the attackers is unlikely. As for its ransom note, it is dropped on the compromised systems as a text file named _readme.txt. The threat tells its victims that they will have to pay $980 to receive the decryption key and software tools from the hackers. However, if the users reach out and establish contact within the first 72 hours, the price of the ransom will be reduced by half to $490. The only method of recovering files is to purchase decrypt tool and unique key for you.
