Summary
Since we joined Innoventures’ Startup Reactor accelerator in July 2017, passing through the three stages of the program, we worked directly with Innoventures and their partners – VC4A, JuiceLabs, and CEDARE. We have received funding and mentoring from Innoventures to take Imaginators to the next level. The last stage of Startup Reactor program was the demo day “Startup Nova“, at this stage the 10 finalists startups, including Imaginators, had the opportunity to pitch in front of a network of investors, entrepreneurs, ecosystem players, and the judges. The judging panel includes high-profile investors and experts: Abdallah Sallam, CEO of Minka Investments; Inji Amr Borai, Founder of Acumen Consulting; Hossam Heiba, Managing Partner at Orbis Capital and Fund Manager at Bedaya SME Fund; Dina Mabrouk, Associate Investment Director at Paradise Capital, Ben White, Founder at VC4A; Magda Elsabee, CEO at Summit Technology Solutions and Louay Youssef, General Manager at Talaat Mostafa Group. Imaginators secured a €1,000 Euros cash prize from VC4A at “Startup Nova – Entrepreneurship Explosion” which held on 5th of December 2017 at Hilton Ramses in Cairo, Egypt.
