Nhost Raises $3M in Seed Funding

Nhost, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of a SaaS open-source platform for developers to build apps, raises $3m in seed funding. The round was led by Nauta Capital with participation from Tom Preston-Werner, Scott Chacon, Christian Bach, Mathias Biilmann, and Antler. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development, go-to-market strategy as well as hire new talent across the business. Founded in 2020 by Johan Eliasson and Nuno Pato, Nhost provides an open-source platform that enables software developers to run and scale their applications without the need to manage complex infrastructure. Developers get instant access to a packaged stack of open-source components, including database, API, storage, user authentication and hosting.
