If I am right about Cisco being one of the first of many, this means that, over the long haul, the digital assets of a company will be at risk, videoconferencing will become a mission-critical app, the use of software-as-a-service (SaaS) will grow and cloud-based security will be paramount. We can all imagine that someone in the house is playing Fortnite or your Windows machine decides to download software at precisely the same time you are making your video pitch. With all this in mind, I expect to publish research backed by shipment data that shows the enterprise-class home networking gear market evolving rapidly as we close out 2021.
