Tech firm AgileThought, with roots in Tampa, goes public on Nasdaq

General News

Summary

Two years after shifting its headquarters from Tampa to Texas, office software and technology company AgileThought has hit the public market. The company, now based in Irving, Texas, began trading on the Nasdaq market Tuesday under the ticker symbol AGIL. “The point of going public is we need to be able to get the capital to really address that opportunity that’s in front of us, and grow the company at the pace that the market is demanding,” Senderos said. To offset losses during the pandemic, the company received a Paycheck Protection Loan of $7.6 million from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Since launching Tuesday morning, AgileThought stock has risen about 10 percent to hit $11.15 per share Wednesday afternoon.
