Assurant Growth Investing, the corporate venture capital arm of Assurant (NYSE: AIZ), a global provider of lifestyle and housing solutions that support, protect and connect major consumer purchases, rebranded as Assurant Ventures. Assurant Ventures has also surpassed $100m in capital deployment since its founding in 2015. Assurant invests in early and growth stage technology companies. The fund targets disruptive startups in and around Assurant’s ecosystem capturing the following themes: To date, the arm has invested in more than 20 startups including Cazoo, Doma, Vacasa, SmartRent, and PrecisionLender.
