▤ Summary

Requests over the internet or coming from a hardware device like a harddisk can take many many CPU cycles. To make this a quality video I dived deep into the history and design of asyncio, going back more than 20 years. In the video I made sure to emphasise best practices and point out potential pitfalls. It also shows how the underlying process works, to make sure the viewer appreciates the differences between async coding and ‘normal’ Python programming. It includes plenty of code walkthroughs so the viewer can see asyncio in action.
