ABRY invests in e-shelter

e-shelter has facilities planned in Berlin and Munich to join sites in Zurich and work on a data center in Frankfurt. Despite the current challenging environment in the financial markets, e-shelter has managed to both attract an investor and to secure long-term funding for the development of new data centres, the firm said. ABRY Partners has already made transactions and investments worth over $1.5 billion in the field of data-centre services. In addition to our new facility in Rüsselsheim, which will meet the latest technological standards in terms of cooling and energy efficiency, we are also planning further centres in Berlin and Munich. Earlier this year ABRY Partners, LLCcompleted its acquisition of Xand Corporation, a facilities-based provider of managed data center infrastructure, private cloud, collocation, and business continuity services.
