Nintendo reveals two remakes – Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl – for Switch

They are the duo of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, both of which originally released back in 2006, for Nintendo’s DS suite of handhelds. Now dubbed Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, these remakes will bring the popular adventure to a new generation of Nintendo gamers. These faithful 3D remakes will send players back to the Sinnoh region, where they’ll explore, battle and collect in order to becomes heroes. The games will feature all of the towns, Pokemon and routes found in the originals, but will be given quality of life improvements that have appeared in more recent titles. They’ll set you back $59.99 USD, and are expected to launch in late 2021.
